Video testimony : Former dairy farmer of the year reduces fertiliser usage with SOBAC
The soil has a much better structure and fertility that improves grass’quality
With 180 milk cows and 45 acres of land in east Galway, Noel O’Toole is a satisfied farmer. For four years, Noel has stopped the use of phosphorous (P) and potassium (K) fertiliser, while decreasing the use of nitrogen (N) by 50%. To keep up his yield index, he has been using Sobac products for four years. The soil has a much better structure and fertility that improves grass’quality. The performance of the herd are good, there is a decrease of empty rate.
