A SMALL CARBON FOOTPRINT
The range of products marketed by SOBAC are fabricated by its partner SMC based in Aveyron, and by its subsidiary FUTURAGRI based in Bourré in the Loir-et-Cher region. Operating since 2007, FUTURAGRI is meeting demand that is growing by some 20% a year.
It obtained ISO9001 certification in 2009 and ISO14001 in 2010. Its annual production capacity is 60,000 tons. The carbon footprint from the fabrication of the products is 2.3 times less than the footprint from the fabrication of nitrogen-based fertilisers (AgroParisTech study).
